Crossing Sydney Harbour Bridge

For the 12 years I lived in Sydney I never ceased to be excited as I drove up onto the Sydney Harbour Bridge to cross Sydney Harbour. Long after leaving Sydney behind me I still have the same sense whenever I go back. The approaches from the south side lead up to the span of the Bridge itself at an angle so as you approach you see the Bridge partially side on, rising above you.
